SAS software is for advanced analytics, multivariate analyses, business intelligence, data management, and predictive analytics.
The SAS 9.4 releases continue to fully use multicore technologies to deliver increased processing capabilities through high-performance, in-database and in-memory analytics resulting in greater insights more quickly from big data and streaming data. SAS 9.4 delivers a highly available and resilient platform for deploying SAS in traditional on-site environments along with additional support for private and public cloud deployments.
The primary focus of SAS 9.4M8 is security. This release contains updates for many of the third party technologies that are used by the platform, including the Java runtime environment (JRE) and many of the third-party JAR files. This release also adds support for major releases of supported operating systems, while limiting support for operating systems that are no longer supported by their respective suppliers.
The license period is now through 06-30-24. Please make sure that you have uninstalled all previous versions of the software from your computer before installing this new version.
